     Desulfurizers generally refer to agents that remove free sulfur or sulfur compounds in fuels, raw materials or other materials; in the control and treatment of pollutants, it mainly refers to agents that can remove sulfur oxides (including SO2 and SO3) in exhaust gas.

The desulfurizers used to remove sulfur dioxide in flue gas are mostly cheap lime, limestone and alkaline solutions prepared with calcareous agents. Chemical plants, smelters, etc. often use solutions such as sodium carbonate and alkaline aluminum sulfate as desulfurizers to treat tail gas containing sulfur dioxide, which can be desorbed and recycled.

    This mixed solution desulfurizer has surface activity, catalytic oxidation, can promote the direct reaction of SO2, accelerate the dissolution of CaCO3, promote the rapid oxidation of CaSO3 to CaSO4, strengthen the precipitation of CaSO4, reduce the ratio of liquid to gas, reduce the ratio of calcium to sulfur, and reduce moisture of evaporation. When the SO2 concentration at the inlet of the flue gas increases and is higher than the design value, the pH value in the reaction pool of the absorption tower decreases, and a larger Ca/S ratio is required. Increase the concentration of calcium ions, keep the pH value of the slurry in the normal range, and have a certain buffering effect on the pH value. Extending the operating time of the slurry in the working section and reducing the number of slurry preparations can significantly reduce the scale of the equipment, and the scale layer will become thinner. It has dispersibility and activity for the scaling of the desulfurization system, reduces the fouling of the scaling, reduces the content of chloride ions in the slurry, and reduces the corrosion and scaling rates of various materials in the desulfurization equipment to varying degrees. At most, corrosion and scaling rates can be reduced by 74% and 79%, respectively, and PVC can be reduced by 48% and 55%. The addition of desulfurization agent can play the role of scale and corrosion inhibition, reduce the blockage, scaling, corrosion and wear of desulfurization nozzles, reduce the scaling, corrosion and wear of slurry circulating pump and impeller, and reduce the maintenance of spare parts in the desulfurization system and replacement. Broaden the selection range of desulfurization materials and improve the reliability of the system. Under different working conditions, the slurry circulating pump and the oxidation fan can be reduced or stopped to improve the desulfurization efficiency and reduce the operating cost.
